Education in Zambia has achieved great things. As reported by UNICEF, they achieved near universal primary school completion levels at 91.8% in recent reviews. However, this hides startling disparities within the regions and, in particular, disadvantages for girls, plus the rate of transition from primary to secondary remains relatively low. In short, there is work still to be done.
